Reading: Students will read the following stories "Quiz Game", " A Boat Disappears", " Jack and the Beans", " Ruth's Day", and Stew for Peg. . Intro. words with suffixes ful,ly, and y. Students will continue working on sequencing events in stories read. They will learn about characters, events, and the setting of the story.
Language: Students will begin learning how to write a complete sentence and sentence rules. We will write sentences together and independent stories. Continue working on NOUNS(people, place, thing, animal). Continue working on verbs (action words). We will begin working on different kinds of sentences (telling sentences that end with a period and questions that begin with a question word and end with a question mark). Continue to work on Adjectives (describing words). They will begin learning about prepositions and prepositional phrases! students will learn about pronouns!
Math: Length! Students will learn ho to use nonstandard measurement to measure objects and compare their lengths.
Science: Students will learn about the parts of the plant and the jobs they do. They will also begin learning about the life cycle of a frog.
Social Studies:Morning Meeting board!!
