In Case of Inclement Weather...

Should the need arise to postpone and/or cancel school due to inclement weather, the District will send out information through the following ways:

1. The decision to postpone and/or cancel school will be made as quickly as possible in order to allow parents the ability to plan for possible child care.

2. Phone messages via the districts mass communication system (School Messenger) will be sent to all parents.

3. Announcements will be posted on the district website…

4. For those parents following the EISD Facebook posts, announcements will be posted through Facebook.

5. Information will be sent to these Dallas news stations:
