Reading: Intro. phonograms ake, ace.  Intro. words with long a with silent e. Intro. words with soft c and g. They will read the stories "Tate's Cakes", " Dave and the Whales", " A Safe Lodge", " The Big Race", and "The Race". 

Language: Students will begin learning how to write a complete sentence (starts with a capital and ends with a punctuation mark). They will also work on word or in sentences. Students will continue learning about nouns. Continue working on verbs (action words). Students will work on knowing if a sentence needs a ?  Continue working on Adjectives (describing words). Intro. Proper Nouns (people, pets, places) 

 Math: . REVIEW skills learned!

:Morning Meeting Board!


 Social Studies
: Continue working on our Polar Express Unit!! Students will travel over the United States. 

 
 
 
Grading Policy
**All assignments are weighed equally as daily grades.**
If your child receives below a 70 on a daily assignment, he/she may correct it.  Each corrected answer will be given 1/2 credit for a grade up to a 70.
