Community Update: Search for New EISD Superintendent
We are excited to share that the Edgewood ISD Board of Trustees has selected Impact Education Specialists to assist in the search for our new superintendent. This decision was made after careful consideration of their expertise and experience in leading successful school district searches.
Impact Education Specialists is led by a team of seasoned superintendents, including Doug Williams (former superintendent of Sunnyvale), Stan Surratt (current superintendent of Lindale), Blake Cooper (former superintendent of Commerce), and Kevin Worthy (former superintendent of Royse City). Each of these partners brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in working with school boards and leading school districts.
Their deep understanding of the challenges administrators face, combined with their proven track record, will guide the EISD Board in identifying the most qualified candidates to lead our district forward.
In the coming weeks, the Board, in collaboration with Impact Education, will finalize a timeline and provide specific details about the search process. We will keep the entire community informed and encourage your involvement as we work to find the best candidate for the future of Edgewood ISD.
