On Friday, October 25, Edgewood Intermediate Teacher, Mrs. Diana Smith, was honored at the Texas Teacher of the Year Luncheon. Mrs. Smith was Edgewood ISD Elementary Teacher of the year for the 23-24 school year along with earning the honor of being named Region 7 Elementary Teacher of the Year. The Texas Teacher of the Year luncheon honors all Regional Teachers of the Year throughout the State.
