On October 21, Edgewood Middle School and Edgewood High School, both had Safety Assemblies.

A very special thank you to Lieutenant Bob Keltner from the Van Zandt County Sheriff's Office, Digital Evidence & Cyber Crime Detective for the presentation that he presented to our students.

Please take the time to ask your students about the assembly.

Lieutenant Keltner covered the serious power that cell phones give students and how misuse of that power can lead to charges whether it be pictures or threats. Students were encouraged to always... if you see something, say something.

In the words of Lieutenant Keltner, "Do not make a permanent decision based on a temporary problem."
