T Smith reaches 1000 points as an Edgewood Bulldog

🏀🏀Friday night before the Varsity Boys Basketball game, Head Coach, Jeff Mason, surprised Edgewood High School Junior athlete, T Smith, with a special recognition.🏀🏀

In December, Smith reached 1000 points as an Edgewood Bulldog. To recognize this achievement, Mason presented Smith with a 1,000 Point Club Plaque. 🏆🏆

Mason had this to say about Smith before the game, “Smith has recently achieved the 1,000 point club mark. This is a huge milestone not only for him but for our basketball program. He is now currently at 1,139 points. I am certain that he would say that he could not have achieved this without his teammates and family always in his corner. As for me I can honestly say that I am not surprised by this achievement. Smith has been on varsity since he was a Freshman and he makes everyone around him better. His leadership, character, and work ethic are unmatched.

I just want to say that we love you and to say that we are proud of you would be an understatement. We have 7 games remaining and we are fighting for that 8th game. I know we will be having this conversation again at the 1500 and 2000 point mark sooner than later.”

💜💜We are #EdgewoodProud of Smith and this accomplishment. There’s still a lot of season left to play and Smith still has a Senior season. We are expecting great things from this young man. Congratulations!! 💜💜
